Overview
PGCS is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the end-to-end finance agenda for two concentrate manufacturing facilities in India, supplying concentrate to bottlers across one of PepsiCo's most dynamic and fastest-growing markets.
As a key member of the India leadership team, this role will provide strategic financial leadership, business partnership, and governance oversight to support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and supply chain resilience. The position will play a pivotal role in shaping long-term value creation through close collaboration with plant leadership, business teams, and cross-functional partners.
The Finance Manager will play a critical leadership role in the scale-up of a new concentrate manufacturing facility, serving as the primary finance representative for internal and external stakeholders while ensuring robust financial governance, compliance, and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
Assume full financial responsibility for two concentrate manufacturing facilities, overseeing all aspects of financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis while supporting the Operations Director and broader India leadership team.Provide strategic financial leadership to support business growth and key enterprise initiatives for the India market.Partner with cross-functional and business teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive profitable growth.Lead the financial evaluation and business case development of strategic projects and growth investments.Lead the reporting, analysis, and governance of ingredient costs, manufacturing expenses, and operating performance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with corporate reporting standards.Manage the financial implications of complex supply chain networks, ensuring cost-effective operations and security of supply for the India market.Drive manufacturing productivity and cost optimization initiatives through target setting, performance tracking, and continuous improvement programs.Coordinate financial activities across local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on investment priorities, project execution, and strategic objectives.Lead the AOP, Strategic Planning Process, and monthly rolling forecasts for the India Concentrate business.Drive performance management processes by identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation plans, and ensuring delivery against financial commitments.Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and enhance business performance.Act as custodian of company assets, including fixed assets and inventory, ensuring effective governance and stewardship.Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance a strong internal control environment in compliance with PepsiCo policies, and corporate governance standards.Lead site financial controls, risk management processes, and audit readiness activities.Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, GST, and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and external authorities.Lead and coordinate responses to significant local and international tax audits and regulatory reviews.Develop organizational capability through coaching, leadership, and talent development within the finance function.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing, supply chain, or FMCG environments.Demonstrated experience leading finance activities in a manufacturing operation with significant operational complexity.Strong track record of strategic business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders.Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and performance management.Strong expertise in internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance.Extensive compliance and audit experience.Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft business applications.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable financial strategies.Proven ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Strong leadership presence, with the ability to build credibility and effectively influence across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and align teams within a matrixed organization.Resilient, adaptable, and results-oriented, with a positive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
