The role:

As an Assistant Manager - Process Support, you will help drive our goals by:

Support production team for productivity improvement and cost reductionWorks with Technical Advisors and plant personnel to optimize operations, meetbusiness and plant goalsProvide engineering support to the manufacturing siteMass and Energy balance for existing process and identify the gapPreparation of BFD, PFD and P&IDManage management of change and process hazard reviewsIdentify and lead manufacturing process efficiency and improvement projectsCoordinate with cross functional teams on various initiativesTo drive sustainability themes (Water conservation, energy reduction, waste reduction, etc.)Lead/Participate in PSSR, HAZOP, HAZAN, QRA etc.Provides equipment operation and process training to equipment operators and othersCoordinate manufacturing and laboratory processesAnalyzes batch cycle times, Consumables, Utility consumption and identification ofvarious improvement themes to reduce cost, improve reliability and safetyInvestigates off-grade or abnormal batches, Preparation of CAPA and implementation ofCAPA. Review of CAPA for its successful implementation

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

Expertise in aspects of Process Engineering such as Process Simulation, Generation of PFD, P&ID & Equipment Specs, Hydraulic Calculation, Process Control, Project DocumentationExcellent interpersonal, communication, technical & presentation skillsAbility to priorities, plan and manage tasks to meet agreed deadlines.

Required Qualification and Experience:

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in chemical engineering with 2-4 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals industry.
