About The Role

Major activities for Order Management

Ensure that required technical & costing inputs are received from Sales-Acquisition/ Proposal teams for initiating drawing preparationsConduct contract-review and clarify all technical queries for preparation & completion of drawingsCo-ordinate with client/ consultant along with sales for approval of drawings & manufacturing clearanceResolve technical issues with Client to minimize cost & improve profitability of the orderCosting at various stages of order execution & monitor actual order cost vis-à-vis planned costResolve commercial issues with ClientClaim management in case of scope change & obtain Purchase Order Amendment incl. delivery extensionsDelivery Planning with operations (monthly projections)Ensure timely Factory Loading to meet contractual delivery datesMonitor overall execution process till dispatchRevenue forecasting, Achieve Budget Revenue and Sales MarginCo-ordinate with Client / Consultant/ Third party inspector for the inspection date alignmentCompile & send order related as-built-documentation to customer after dispatch Ensure completion of all formalities to enable collection of receivables from the customerEnsure the shortages and post supply activity is minimized, in order to ensure timely delivery and completion of orders within planned costVisit to customers for in-person meetings wherever necessaryCo-ordination with cross functional departments from smooth & timely execution of orders
