We at Smart Infrastructure Division in Siemens Ltd. is one of the top tier global suppliers of products, systems, solutions, and services for the efficient, reliable, and intelligent transmission and distribution of electrical power. As the trusted partner for the development and extension of an efficient and reliable power infrastructure that industry and the portfolio they need.
We are looking for a tech savvy person with supply chain management background with 4-5 Years of experience in MTO & MTS manufacturing environment. Person should be well converse with Operational Procurement, Demand Planning, MRP Knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end operational purchasing of electrical and electromechanical components.Create, release, and follow up Purchase Orders based on MRP and production requirements.Ensure on-time material availability and proactively manage shortages and critical supplies.Monitor supplier delivery performance, overdue orders, and PO confirmations.Expedite critical materials and drive supplier recovery plans.Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, and Strategic Procurement.Optimize inventory through PO rescheduling, cancellation, and alignment with actual demand.Monitor inventory status and generate inventory reports.Inventory Analysis to reduce inventory levels.Resolve delivery, pricing, invoice, and other supplier-related issues.Support supplier performance improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Candidate Profile
4-5 years of experience in Operational Procurement / Purchasing, preferably in electrical manufacturing.Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Good knowledge of electrical commodities such as relays, contactors, terminal blocks, wires/cables, protection devices, coils, motors, sensors, and electronic components.Hands-on experience with SAP, MRP, Purchase Order management, and supplier expediting.Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management, and supplier performance KPIs.Good negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and production-critical situations.
