We are seeking for a BE in Electronics & Comm/ Electrical/ CS, should have minimum 2-4 years of experience in development of security features for embedded products. This job is based out of Goa.
Product development
Design and implement cybersecurity features that protect energy automation products against unauthorized access, firmware tampering, secure data compromise, and network-based attacks while ensuring compliance with IEC 62443. Implement security features under guidance of senior engineers. Support threat remediation and vulnerability fixes. Participate in security reviews and penetration-test closure activities. Implement features using secure coding practices, fix issues reported by static analysis tools, penetration and external security certification tests. Embedded Linux / RTOS based application development and debugging using IPC, networking and multi-threading concepts.
Professional knowledge
Good programming experience in C/ C++. 2-4 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably with exposure to cybersecurity features in Energy Automation or Industrial Automation products. Understanding of cryptographic principles including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, key management, secure boot, firmware signing and secure firmware updates. Hands on troubleshooting issues on run-time environment, experience in analysing Pen test reports / observations / communication logs. Basic understanding of cybersecurity standards – IEC 62443, IEC 62351. Good Understanding of Memories, RAMs, storage devices, high speed devices like USB, Ethernet. Basic knowledge of software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review. Experience in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development on Linux or RTOS environment. Familiarity with multi-core programming, IPCs. Proficient in tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Scripting languages. Experience with tools such as OpenSSL, Wireshark, Coverity, SonarQube, Valgrind, GDB or equivalent tools. Basic knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems. Strong documentation and writing skills
