Job Description Summary

Responsible for the oversight and operational excellence of production value streams. The role focuses on driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance through the deployment of advanced lean manufacturing strategies. Candidate will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, mentor operational teams, and influence supply chain and processes to achieve long-term productivity and scalability. This role needs to lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize process flow, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Managerial: Own SQDC performance for defined value streams; translate high-level business objectives into actionable operational strategies.Integrated Planning: Lead production planning cycles in coordination with Supply Chain and Contract Management to ensure 100% on-time delivery.Operational: Architect and execute lean roadmaps. Move beyond basic tool application to driving systemic cultural change through Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.Continuous Improvement Expert: Spearhead high-impact Kaizen events, Action Workouts (AWO), and organizational problem-solving initiatives to eliminate structural waste.Cross-Functional Influence: Serve as the primary operational partner for Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless production, New Product Introductions (NPI) and engineering change integration.Capacity & Capability Planning: Direct capacity planning, identify and resolve shop floor level bottlenecks through technical process optimization.Operational: Establish and refine standard operating rhythms, ensuring compliance and performance visibility across all manufacturing shifts.Drive 5S implementation and sustain workplace organization.Support line readiness for new product introduction or process changes.Drive operators for continuous improvement and 5S.Establish daily operating rhythms in manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (Advanced degree or MBA/Operations Management certification is a plus).Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations.
