Job Description Shift HR Executive
Position: Shift HR Executive / HR Officer
Location: Nelamangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Industry: Manufacturing

Reporting To: HR Manager / Plant HR Head
Job Summary
We are looking for a Shift HR Executive to support day-to-day HR operations at our manufacturing plant in Nelamangala. The candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations, attendance, shift activities, statutory documentation, recruitment support, and general HR operations for plant employees.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing/plant environment and interacting with employees, supervisors, and contract labour.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR activities during assigned shifts.
Monitor employee attendance, shift timings, late coming, absenteeism and leave.
Coordinate with production and department supervisors regarding manpower requirements.
Handle employee grievances and resolve routine employee-related issues.
Support recruitment, joining formalities and employee documentation.
Maintain employee records, attendance registers and HR reports.
Coordinate with contract labour/vendors and maintain relevant documentation.
Support payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leave and shift-related data.
Assist in statutory compliance activities related to PF, ESI, labour laws, wages and contractor records.
Conduct employee engagement and welfare activities at the plant.
Support disciplinary procedures and maintain necessary documentation.
Coordinate induction and basic HR orientation for new employees.
Assist in maintaining plant HR policies, notices and communication.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly HR MIS reports.
Coordinate with security, administration, canteen, transport and other support functions where required.
Ensure HR processes are followed as per company policies and plant requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree in HR / Business Administration / Commerce / any relevant discipline.
1–3 years of experience in plant HR / manufacturing HR preferred.
Working knowledge of attendance and payroll processes.
Basic knowledge of PF, ESI, labour compliance and contract labour management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle shop-floor employees and work closely with production teams.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS.
Kannada communication skills will be an advantage.
Willingness to work in shifts, including rotational shifts if required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates from manufacturing, automotive, engineering, FMCG or industrial sectors preferred.
Candidates residing in or around Nelamangala, Tumakuru Road, Dasanapura, Dabaspet, Peenya or nearby areas preferred.
Should be comfortable working in a plant/shop-floor environment.
Strong follow-up, discipline and employee-handling skills.
Compensation
CTC: Up to 3.0 LPA, depending on experience, skills and current compensation.
