Job Responsibilities-
Provide technical services for implementation In-House Grinding Aids (GA) to improve clinker factor and cement performance across UTCL & ICL cement unitsTo drive new cement development & cost efficiencyPlan and schedule lab and plant trials for Grinding Aids (GA) for raw mills and cement mills in coordination with plant teamsVisit cement units to monitor and ensure proper execution of lab and plant trials as per planEnsure completion of all trials and successful implementationConduct chemical and physical analysis of clinker, cement and other input materials as per the development planEnsure timely completion of testing as per the scheduled planPrepare and submit draft reports to the reporting manager for reviewPerform systematic calibration of identified laboratory instrumentsEnsure adherence to SOPs and quality standardsEnsure availability and proper storage of raw materials required for trials and product developmentConduct trials related to Grinding Aid and admixture development for cement and concreteProvide guidance to laboratory staff and plant personnel to enhance their technical competencySupervise daily laboratory activities and ensure safety complianceComply with all company and statutory environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelinesManage and direct QC resources, operations, and facilities to ensure adherence to quality systems
Functional Competency: Good knowledge of cement plant operations, QA/QC techniques, and cement chemistryBehavioural Competency: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence plant stakeholders, and drive implementation
