Job Description – ABB Drives BRE

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Department: ABB Drives / Industrial Automation

Position: Business/Regional Sales Engineer (BRE) – ABB Drives

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing and growing the ABB Drives business in the Mumbai region by identifying new opportunities, developing OEMs, system integrators, end customers and channel partners, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and business development for ABB LV Drives, VFDs and related solutions.

Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Identify and develop OEM, SI, EPC, panel builder and end-user opportunities.

Generate enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up for order conversion.

Conduct customer visits, technical discussions and product presentations.

Understand customer applications and recommend suitable ABB Drive solutions.

Coordinate with ABB, customers, internal sales, service and technical teams.

Track enquiries, quotations, orders and sales pipeline through CRM.

Develop and maintain a strong Mumbai-region customer database and opportunity pipeline.

Monitor competitor activities, market trends and pricing.

Support collection follow-ups and ensure smooth order execution.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Expand ABB Drives penetration in key industrial segments.
