MAIN TASKS:
Store and Inventory ManagementReceiving and storage of chemicals according to their chemical classesMaking Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)Issuing lab chemicals and consumablesPerforming periodic inventory safety checks & auditsImmediate reporting of any issues related to chemical inventory system (ERP) and following up with the ERP accountable to resolve the sameIdentifying near “expiry date” chemicals, informing to chemist & sending for disposals based on feedback receivedReview of inventory and raising orders for consumables & common chemicals/solvents as needed Ensuring safety & compliance with local laws & company policiesLegal ComplianceAs a store responsible, ensuring safety & legal compliance e.g., wrt to class A solvent storage, Poison store, Narcotics substances & solvent/chemical handling licenses Staying UpToDate with new guidelines/directives issued from time to time
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in inventory managementShould be fluent in communicationProactive, result driven and entrepreneurial approach towards tasks
