Business Data Analyst

Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)Experience: 3+ yearsWork timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM ISTPosition Requirements:Experience with AI tools, including using Google Gemini, developing GEMS and agents, prompt engineering, Claude, and a proactive willingness to explore AI applications for daily business use cases and improving team productivity• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with database technologies (PostgreSQL, Vertica, GBQ, DorisDB, Vertica)• Exceptional documentation, system diagramming (e.g., MIRO/Visio), and communication skills• Expert-level proficiency in SQL• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Pentaho and Informatica• Experience utilizing reporting platforms (Tableau, InHouse, Looker)• Experience with Web analytics or Business Intelligence tools• Knowledge of Python is an added advantage• Understanding of one or more marketing/analytics platforms: Omniture, Exact Target, Google Analytics, DFP, or Salesforce• Self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes, and the initiative to take ownership beyond basic responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: • Provide analysis and define requirements for multiple data quality projects• Document complex data flows across the organization using AI• Analyze business requirements and design scenarios required for the team's automation efforts• Collaborate closely with non-IT teams (e.g., Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Sales) to accurately capture and understand data quality requirements• Build an enterprise-level data quality validation inventory covering various data sources• Connect and integrate complex datasets to enable deeper analysis and robust data validation• Translate complex SQL queries and concepts into terms easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
