WebGL Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and creatively driven WebGL Developer to build immersive, high-performance interactive experiences for the web. This role involves working closely with design, frontend, and product teams to create visually compelling realtime experiences and support day-to-day integration and implementation tasks across digital projects. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fundamentals with a passion for graphics, interactivity, and emerging AI-assisted development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

WebGL & Interactive Experience Development

Design and develop interactive 3D web applications using WebGL and related technologies

Build immersive visual experiences, animations, and realtime interactions for modern web platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into scalable implementations

Integrate and optimize 3D assets, environments, and scenes for performant web delivery

Improve visual fidelity while maintaining rendering efficiency across devices and browsers

Workflow Automation & Production Efficiency

Build internal editor tools, utilities, and reusable systems to streamline production workflows

Automate repetitive development and content integration tasks using AI-assisted tools and workflows

Improve overall production efficiency through process optimization, tooling, and intelligent automation

Support rapid prototyping and iteration for immersive digital experiences

Graphics Optimization & Rendering

Optimize rendering performance across browsers and devices for smooth user experiences

Implement efficient rendering techniques for complex 3D scenes and interactions

Develop and optimize shaders for advanced visual effects and realistic rendering

Integration & Frontend Collaboration

Integrate WebGL experiences seamlessly with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-based applications

Work closely with frontend and backend teams on daily integration and implementation tasks

Ensure responsive and production-ready deployment of interactive modules

AI-Assisted Development

Actively utilize AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Antigravity as part of the development workflow

Leverage AI tools to improve development speed, debugging, documentation, automation, and experimentation

Stay updated with emerging AI-assisted engineering practices and workflows

Testing, Debugging & Documentation

Identify and resolve rendering, compatibility, and performance issues

Conduct thorough testing across browsers and devices

Create and maintain technical documentation for implementations, tools, and workflows

Research & Innovation

Stay informed about advancements in WebGL, realtime graphics, AI-assisted development, and web technologies

Explore new techniques to improve performance, interactivity, and visual quality

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in WebGL, frontend engineering, or creative technology development

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript

Hands-on experience with WebGL and frameworks such as Three.js or Babylon.js

Strong understanding of 3D graphics concepts, shaders, rendering pipelines, and realtime interactions

Experience integrating and optimizing 3D assets for web-based environments

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices

Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable working in fast-paced collaborative environments
