Role: Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor who can create sharp, marketing-focused video assets across performance ads, reels, event aftermovies, and other short-form digital collaterals. The ideal candidate should understand briefs, have a strong eye for design, and be able to use editing, animation, typography, transitions, and treatment to create differentiated video outputs across brands and campaigns.

Core Responsibilities

Edit performance ad videos, reels, event aftermovies, and other short-form marketing video collaterals across digital platforms.Understand creative briefs and translate them into engaging video edits that support brand awareness, lead generation, and conversion objectives.Adapt and optimise video content for different channels, including social media, paid ads, websites, and other digital formats.Use design, animation, transitions, typography, pacing, and visual treatment to create distinct video styles across brands, schools, campaigns, and formats.Ensure all video assets are aligned with the brief, brand guidelines, editorial direction, and platform requirements.Work closely with internal creative, marketing, performance, and brand teams to understand requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure timely delivery.Manage internal stakeholders, feedback cycles, and delivery timelines for short-form video collaterals.Stay up to date with video editing trends, social media formats, performance ad styles, platform requirements, and emerging editing tools.Use AI-powered video and editing tools to improve output quality, streamline workflows, automate tasks such as captioning, and reduce turnaround times.Follow established workflows, naming conventions, feedback processes, and approval timelines to ensure smooth execution.Maintain strong attention to detail and quality control across all video outputs.

Ideal Skills & Expertise

Strong portfolio of marketing-focused video work across performance ads, reels, social media videos, event films, or digital campaigns.Proficiency in video editing and motion tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva and other relevant editing platforms.Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma is a plus.Strong understanding of short-form video formats, aspect ratios, hooks, pacing, captions, typography, transitions, animation, and motion graphics.Ability to use AI tools for video editing, captioning, production support, enhancement, and workflow improvement.Good understanding of marketing, performance creatives, audience engagement, and how video supports campaign outcomes.Strong visual judgement, attention to detail, and quality assurance discipline.Good communication skills, with the ability to understand briefs, manage feedback, and work with internal stakeholders.Process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple video projects, timelines, and revisions.
