KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, account mapping, and evaluation of potential BFSI clients
Drive consultative sales conversations and deliver solution pitches and presentations to senior-level stakeholders across banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and corporates
Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity identification to commercial closure and successful delivery of solutions
Achieve assigned revenue and sales targets by maintaining a strong and qualified sales pipeline
Develop a deep understanding of assigned accounts, identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and build strong client relationships to drive repeat and incremental business
Conduct regular account mapping to identify key decision-makers, influencers, business requirements, and potential opportunities within allocated accounts
Organize and participate in industry events, roundtables, and theme-based BFSI engagements as part of the customer acquisition and relationship-building strategy
Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities while ensuring adherence to the company’s compliance framework
KEY REQUIREMENTS
MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline
7+ years of relevant post-MBA experience in B2B/business development, enterprise sales, strategic account management, or corporate client relationship management
Proven experience in new client acquisition, solution selling, and managing senior-level client relationships
Prior exposure to BFSI clients, including banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, or other large corporate accounts, would be preferred
Experience in Credit Ratings, Consulting, Advisory, Financial Information, Risk Solutions, or Data & Analytics businesses would be an advantage
Good understanding of the BFSI ecosystem, banking products, trade finance, credit, risk, and related financial solutions
Ability to engage confidently with senior management and key decision-makers within client organizations
Good understanding of CRM, sales forecasting, account planning, and pipeline management
