Role-Travel Consultant Experience- 2 - 5 years Location: Andheri, MumbaiJob Description – Travel Consultant Key ResponsibilitiesTravel ReservationsHandle domestic and international flight bookings through GDS and online booking tools. Book hotels, rail tickets, airport transfers, car rentals, and other travel services. Suggest the most cost-effective and policy-compliant travel options. Process cancellations, reissues, refunds, exchanges, and itinerary modifications. Customer ServiceRespond to client queries via phone, email, and chat within defined SLAs. Provide prompt and accurate travel advice and itinerary options. Handle emergency travel requests and last-minute changes. Build strong relationships with corporate travellers and travel coordinators. Policy ComplianceEnsure all bookings comply with the client's travel policy. Guide travellers on approvals and policy exceptions. Maintain high booking accuracy and minimize errors. GDS & TechnologyOperate GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo. Process airline queues and monitor ticketing deadlines. Work on Self Booking Tools (SBTs) such as Concur, Zillious, Cytric, etc. Update traveler profiles and maintain booking records. Vendor CoordinationCoordinate with airlines, hotels, consolidators, and other travel partners. Resolve supplier-related issues promptly. Negotiate alternatives during disruptions. Documentation & ComplianceEnsure correct fare rules, passport, visa, and travel documentation requirements are communicated. Maintain complete booking records and documentation. Adhere to company SOPs and quality standards. Operational ExcellenceMeet productivity and quality targets. Maintain turnaround times (TATs) and service levels. Support 24x7 operations, including rotational shifts when required. Escalate complex issues appropriately. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Preferred QualificationsGraduate in any discipline. Diploma or certification in Travel & Tourism preferred. 2–5 years of experience in a Corporate Travel Management Company (TMC). Experience handling corporate accounts and international itineraries.
