Job Summary : We are looking for a NPD - Packaging Procurement professional to support packaging innovation, supplier development, and sourcing initiatives across skincare and personal care categories. The role will be responsible for identifying packaging solutions, managing packaging suppliers, understanding manufacturing processes, coordinating new packaging development, and ensuring timely execution of packaging requirements in a fast-paced D2C/FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Manage end-to-end development and sourcing of packaging components including tubes, bottles, jars, pumps, labels, cartons, and other packaging materials.• Develop a strong understanding of tube manufacturing processes, materials, decoration technologies, tooling requirements, and supplier capabilities.• Identify, evaluate, and onboard packaging suppliers based on quality, commercial viability, innovation, and scalability.• Work closely with NPD, Marketing, Design, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams to support product launches.• Coordinate packaging sampling, artwork approvals, testing, validation, and commercialization activities.• Maintain relationships with packaging vendors and regularly benchmark supplier capabilities and market trends.• Drive cost optimization initiatives through alternate sourcing, value engineering, and commercial negotiations.• Ensure timely availability of packaging materials to support launch timelines and business requirements.• Track project timelines, supplier deliverables, risks, and launch readiness.• Support packaging innovation by identifying new materials, formats, sustainability initiatives, and market trends.• Maintain packaging specifications, supplier databases, development trackers, and project documentation.

Skills, Qualification and Years of Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.• Strong understanding of packaging development lifecycle and packaging commercialization processes.• Hands-on knowledge of packaging materials including tubes, bottles, jars, pumps, labels, cartons, and flexible packaging.• 2–4 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD), Packaging Development, Packaging Innovation, Packaging Commercialization, or Product Development.• Experience in Beauty, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Skincare, FMCG, Packaging Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or D2C organizations.• Prior exposure to packaging development and commercialization for new product launches.
