About Upstox

At Upstox, we're building the future of investing — simple, powerful, and for everyone. We're one of India's fastest-growing fintech platforms, backed by the best in the business, including Mr. Ratan Tata and Tiger Global, and on a mission to make wealth creation accessible to every Indian. If you thrive in a high-energy, high-impact environment, you're in the right place.

The Role: Senior Specialist – Investor Grievance

As a Senior Specialist – Investor Grievance, you'll be the voice of resolution for our investors when things don't go as expected. You'll own the end-to-end handling of investor grievances, make sure every resolution stays within regulatory norms, and turn complaint data into sharp reports and insights that help us fix problems at the root.

What You'll Own

Manage and resolve investor grievances received across channels (including SEBI SCORES, exchanges, depositories, and direct escalations) accurately and within regulatory timelines

Ensure all grievance handling complies with SEBI, exchange, and depository norms, and keep processes audit-ready at all times

Curate and publish regular grievance reports (daily, monthly, and regulatory) for internal stakeholders and regulators

Analyse complaint trends to generate actionable insights, and partner with product, operations, and compliance teams to drive root-cause fixes

Drive continuous improvement in turnaround time, resolution quality, and investor satisfaction

What we're looking for

Experience in investor grievance handling, customer escalations, or compliance within broking, depository, or financial services

Solid understanding of SEBI regulations, exchange/depository guidelines, and grievance redressal frameworks

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complaint data into clear reports and meaningful insights

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; exposure to dashboards or data tools is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle sensitive investor issues with empathy and clarity

High ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to work against tight regulatory deadlines

Why This Role Rocks

You'll sit at the intersection of investor trust and regulatory compliance — every grievance you resolve and every insight you surface directly shapes a better, safer investing experience for millions of Indians.
