Role Details Reporting To : Lead HR - WestLocation : Mumbai Work Model : Onsite

What would you be doing?The Regional HR Manager will lead the HR function for the designated Mumbai region at bigbasket, partnering closely with business leaders to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness and employee experience. The role will own the end-to-end employee lifecycle and ensure alignment of HR priorities with business goals and growth plans.

HR Strategy & Business Partnering:Develop and execute regional HR strategies aligned with business priorities. Partner with regional and functional leaders to address people priorities and drive organizational effectiveness.

Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition:Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, manpower requirements and talent needs. Drive timely hiring in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.

Employee Engagement & Relations:Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. Address employee concerns, grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.

Performance & Talent Management:Drive performance management, goal-setting and talent review processes. Identify high-potential talent and support career development and succession planning.

Learning & Development:Identify regional capability-building needs and partner with L&D teams to drive relevant development interventions and learning programs.

HR Operations & Compliance:Ensure effective execution of HR processes and adherence to company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations. Partner with relevant teams to mitigate people-related risks.

HR Analytics & Insights:Track and analyse key people metrics such as attrition, headcount, engagement and workforce trends. Provide actionable insights to business and HR leadership.

Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with HR COEs and business teams to implement people initiatives and support organizational priorities. Act as a trusted HR partner to regional leadership.

Who are we looking for?

Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.10–15 years of experience in HR, with strong experience in HRBP and regional HR leadership roles.Experience in E-commerce, Retail, FMCG, Logistics or Supply Chain would be preferred.Strong understanding of HR practices, employee lifecycle and employment regulations.Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders and translate business priorities into people initiatives.Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and execution capabilities.Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-growth environment.
