JOB TITLE: Project Lead – Insurance & Asset Management

About The Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive strategic initiatives across our Insurance and Asset Management operations in India. You'll work directly with senior leadership at Sun Life India and key stakeholders at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance/Asset Management, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Management

Lead end-to-end project management for Sun Life India's strategic initiatives and transformational projectsCollaborate closely with Sun Life India leadership and Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance/Asset Management stakeholdersDesign and implement monitoring frameworks to track project progress, identify risks, and communicate status effectivelyConduct data analysis to measure project performance against established KPIs and success metrics

Strategic Insights & Analytics

Deliver actionable analytical insights to Sun Life India's senior leadership teamProvide competitive intelligence and industry analysis to inform strategic decisionsMonitor ongoing initiatives and recommend course corrections based on data-driven findings

Executive Support & Communication

Prepare high-quality presentations and business analyses for strategic leadership meetingsTranslate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiencesFacilitate decision-making through well-structured analytical inputs

What You'll Need

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, or related field

Essential Skills

Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools; Agile experience is a plusAnalytical Excellence: Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detailCommunication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in EnglishInterpersonal: Proven ability to build relationships and influence across organizational levelsTechnical: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and presentation softwareBusiness Acumen: Rapid learning capability to understand complex business & distribution models, identify challenges, and develop solutions

Required

Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experienceDemonstrated track record working with C-suite executives on strategic initiatives and business reviewsExperience managing cross-functional projects and teams

Preferred

Background in life insurance and/or asset management distributionHands-on experience with distribution projectsInternational or multi-geography project experienceExperience working across diverse teams within and outside India
