Role purpose

The Manager, HR Services C&B, APEC is responsible for supporting end-to-end compensation and benefits governance for Above Property across APEC. The role supports the planning and execution of annual compensation cycles, market benchmarking and analysis, reward-related reporting, payroll oversight, and benefits administration governance. Working closely with the HR Services team and C&B team, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, and regional stakeholders, the role helps ensure accurate, compliant, and audit-ready compensation, benefits, and payroll processes while improving consistency, data integrity, and service delivery for Above Property associates and leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Rewards AdministrationSupport the administration and governance of compensation programs for Above Property associates across APEC. Coordinate annual compensation processes, including merit, bonus, salary reviews, and related reward activities. Prepare, validate, and maintain compensation data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established controls. Support job evaluations, market benchmarking, salary analysis, and reward-related reporting to inform compensation decisions. Partner with HR Services, Business Partners, and business leaders to create and guide compensation proposals and policies. Benefits & Wellbeing ProgramsSupport the administration and governance of benefits programs, including annual benefits review, plan design enhancements and implementation. Partner with benefits vendors, HR Services, and key stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of benefits programs and ongoing management of benefits programs. Coordinate with HR Services to ensure timely execution, accurate administration, and communication to associates regarding benefit offerings and changes. Support benefits-related market surveys and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and associate experience. Payroll Governance & CompliancePartner with HR Services, Payroll, and Finance teams to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related compensation and benefits. Review and validate payroll inputs related to compensation, incentives, allowances, and benefits changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved actions. Monitor payroll exceptions, discrepancies, and compliance risks, providing guidance and escalating issues as appropriate. Support payroll governance activities by maintaining controls, documentation, and audit readiness across compensation, benefits, and payroll processes. Reporting, Analytics & Data ManagementMaintain the integrity and accuracy of compensation, benefits, and payroll data. Analyze reward data and trends, identifying insights and opportunities to support business and HR priorities. Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making. Projects, Process Improvement & GovernanceSupport regional Compensation & Benefits projects, including process standardization, system enhancements, and service delivery improvements. Develop and maintain policies, standard operating procedures, process documentation, templates, and communication materials. Partner with HR Services, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to drive operational excellence and process efficiency. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance consistency, governance, and the associate experience across reward programs. Handle sensitive compensation, benefits, and payroll information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion. Support the end-to-end governance of compensation and benefits program processes for Above Property associates across APEC. Coordinate and support the planning, preparation and execution of annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, salary review and related reward processes. Prepare, validate and maintain compensation and benefits data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, confidentiality and audit readiness. Partner with HR Services to support market benchmarking, salary analysis and compensation-related reporting to inform decision-making and governance. Partner with HR Services, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure reward-related transactions are processed accurately and on time. Manage payroll oversight activities for Above Property populations within scope, including recurring payroll inputs, validation, issue resolution and follow-up with payroll providers or internal teams. Support benefits administration governance, including coordination of benefit changes, eligibility reviews, associate communications and annual or recurring benefits activities. Maintain strong controls and documentation for compensation, benefits and payroll processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, approval requirements and applicable local requirements. Identify data discrepancies, process risks or compliance concerns and ensure timely escalation, follow-up and resolution. Prepare reports, dashboards, workforce and reward information for HR Services, C&B and business stakeholders. Support regional HR Services and C&B projects, including process standardization, system improvements, policy implementation and service delivery enhancements. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, process guides, templates and associate or manager communications related to compensation, benefits and payroll activities. Contribute to improved consistency, efficiency and quality across reward-related HR Services processes. Handle confidential and sensitive compensation, benefits and payroll information with appropriate discretion and professionalism. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned or instructed by the business from time to time.

Required Skills And Experience

Relevant experience in compensation and benefits, payroll, HR operations, HR shared services or a similar role supporting reward and associate-lifecycle processes. Good working knowledge of compensation, benefits and payroll processes, with the ability to support annual cycles, recurring activities and operational delivery. Experience working with HR, payroll or compensation data, including validation, reporting, reconciliation and issue resolution. Ability to manage recurring processes accurately and within agreed timelines, including compensation reviews, payroll inputs, benefits administration and audit requirements. Experience supporting multiple countries, markets or stakeholders in a regional environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, complete and confidential records. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain compensation, benefits and payroll requirements clearly to different audiences. Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities across markets, deadlines and recurring operational cycles. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools, with experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, tracking, and preparing management presentation decks and information. Ability to deliver presentations to Business Partners and other key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Compensation & Benefits or a related discipline. 5-8 years' experience supporting regional compensation cycles, salary benchmarking, benefits administration or payroll governance. Experience working in a regional HR Services, C&B or shared services environment. Strong service orientation and stakeholder-management capability. Sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive reward, payroll and associate information. Ability to manage competing priorities across countries and time zones. Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through. Clear written and verbal communication. Practical problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
