Position Title: Manager – Engineered Tooling Solutions

Job Description:

Tool Design of Moulds (Injection and Compression) for electrical, automotive applicationsCollaborate with R&D, NPI/LCM, customers for feasbility studies and part refinementDevelop tooling concepts, tool layouts for single and multicavity tooling with and without Hot runner systemsPerform tool design calculations and develop designs and drafting in 3D CADApply CAE for Polymer Rheology to Validate tool element reliabilityCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs are feasible and cost-effective

Functional Competencies

Proven experience as a Mould Designer proficient in Injection mould design for single and multicavity HRS and Non HRS moulds for Engineering Plastics. Experience in compression moulding will be added advantage.Proficiency in CREO and CAE software for MouldsKnowledge of Short Cycle time Mould design will be added advantageIn-depth knowledge of Moulding machines, moulded part production processes and experience with thermoplastic.Experience with thermoset plastics will be added advantage.
