Position Title: Manager- Application Engineering

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience: 5–7 Years

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables (Listed in decreasing order of importance)

Engineering Drawings preparation like General Arrangement, Bill of Material, Schematics, Single Line Diagrams etc. based on client's feed documents & specifications.Configuring electrical components in SAP to release the material to manufacturing.Attending technical meetings with the customers for drawings approval.Drive initiatives for design standardization, cost optimization, and process improvement to enhance engineering efficiency.Must be able to take ownership of tasks and work independently

Key Competencies

Functional Competencies

Strong knowledge of MV AIS switchgear components (Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Earthing Switches, CT/PT, Protection Relays) and their applications. Should be able to solve client's technical queries.Basic knowledge of E3, MS Office & Auto-CAD.Familiarity with SAP for material configuration and BOM release.

Behavioural Competencies

Goal oriented. Should adhere to the commitments.Analytical, assertive, and collaborative team player.Disciplined, punctual, and willing to travel for customer approvals and site visits.Strong communication skills (verbal & written) for customer interactions and documentation.

Educational Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in Electrical / Electrical & ElectronicsExperience Range: 2–5 Years (MV AIS design experience preferred)Critical Skills Required: Switchgear Application Knowledge, IEC Standards, AutoCAD, E3, SAP
