AjnaLens is looking for a System Administrator to join our team at Thane (Maharashtra – India). The ideal candidate should have prior experience in system administration or IT support, with strong technical expertise in managing servers, networks, and operating systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can optimize system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure uninterrupted IT operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Who are we looking for:
Someone with a keen interest in optimising system performance and troubleshooting technical issues.
Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MAC, Linux).
Experience in working in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups or tech companies.
Top 3 Daily Tasks:
Provide technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly and act as the go-to person for all IT-related queries.
Monitor and manage Laptop & Desktop performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
Maintain system documentation and configurations, updating records regularly for compliance and operational continuity.
Minimum work experience & Qualification required: Total 1-2 years of work experience in system administration or IT Support roles.

Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, MAC, Linux).
Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

What would you be expected to do:
As an IT Administrator Intern, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and software applications.
Networking: Expertise in TCP/IP, switching/routing, subnetting, FortiGate Firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN. Monitor network performance and security, addressing any issues that arise to ensure uninterrupted service.
Scripting: Writing scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc. to automate tasks and boost efficiency.
OS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS internals for system administration.
Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management), DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and endpoint management tools will be considered an added advantage.
Proven experience in IT Asset Management (hardware and software lifecycle management) is mandatory.
Experience in implementing IT automation to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth IT service delivery.
Need to develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
