Role Description:
The National Head – Treasury & Corporate Finance is responsible for overseeing the company's capital management and structuring, managing lender relationships and negotiations, and ensuring robust financial risk management systems. The role involves managing debt treasury operations, ensuring adherence to compliance and reporting standards, and providing stakeholder support. The incumbent will drive prudent financial structuring of deals and maintain data to support debt raising activities. The incumbent should be able to align with CEO office, Asset Management team for planning and forecasting cash flow requirement, plan well in advance, able to liaision with Legal, Leasing and Fund team to support from a cash flow perspective. Should be able to have a bird’s eye of entire SPVs and fund and be an active member of strategy.
Key responsibilities:Capital Management & Structuring -Oversee capital management and structuring activities.Ensure robust financial risk management systems are in place, including liquidity and cash flow adequacy and risk exposure.Well plan ahead on requirements from management for effective cash flow management.On time Projects development should be priority #1 for such incumbent.
Lender Relationships & Negotiations -Manage lender relationships and negotiations to secure favorable terms.Oversee debt treasury management to ensure timely and accurate debt drawdowns.Completely aware of new trends and products in the market
Compliance & Reporting -Ensure adherence to all compliance requirements and reporting standards.Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
Financial Structuring & Risk Management -Drive prudent financial structuring of deals to optimize financial outcomes.Implement effective risk management practices to safeguard the company's financial health.Be able to project issues with cash flows much ahead of time by aligning with CEO office and asset management team
Stakeholder Support -Provide strategic support to stakeholders through management presentations, IC preparation, and financial modeling. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Be completely linked to investment, leasing, development, legal, asset management and CEO office.
Education Requirements:CA / MBA with a specialization in finance or a related field (Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges preferred).
Years of experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in construction management in the construction industry, of which 8+ years should be in managerial capacity.
Work Experience Requirements:Proven experience in capital management and financial structuring.Strong understanding of financial risk management and compliance.Demonstrated ability to manage lender relationships and negotiations.Experience in debt treasury operations and stakeholder management.Should have exposure to using instruments such as NCD, CP, ECB, QIP, etc. Should have the negotiation and execution experience for getting best terms of borrowing.Experience of working in the Commercial Real Estate Sector having managed LRD among other aspects would be preferable.Should have led the debt raise of at least INR 3000- 4000 CR, from leading banks ( both public & private).Should be well versed on annuity yielding assets and project avenues for incremental profitability. He should be able to liaision with Investment teams for structuring of deals at acquisition time, identify opportunities and risk from a financial / funding perspective and well connected to financial ecosystem to give strategic feedback.
