HSBC is hiring for the role of Employee Engagement Assistant!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Drive employee engagement and recognition across the Branch Network through structured R&R programmes (e.g., Service/Sales Star, Performer of the Quarter) and high-participation staff initiatives.
Create and publish internal communications: prepare and release ePosters, Propel and Customer Wow stories, campaign announcements, trivia/quiz communications, and other approved Branch Network updates.
Manage end-to-end rewards fulfilment within agreed timelines, including certificates, trophies, lanyard pins, ePosters and physical posters; ensure winners are informed promptly and clearly.
Plan and execute engagement events (including festival celebrations and need-based staff events), coordinating logistics and stakeholder inputs to maximize participation.
Provide logistics and coordination support for key Branch Network forums/calls (e.g., HoIWPB Network call), ensuring smooth set-up, invites, content readiness, and follow-through actions.
Stakeholder and vendor management: build strong partnerships with Business Heads, support functions and vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality output and adherence to procurement/GPU processes.
Own key communication channel mailboxes, ensuring timely responses, correct routing and consistent messaging.
Governance ownership for Gifts & Entertainment and ABC (Anti-Bribery & Corruption) for the Branch Network: drive awareness and communications, support control checks/attestations as required, maintain appropriate records, and escalate exceptions through the right channels.
Ensure content governance, compliance and support audit readiness by maintaining documentation, controls and evidence to achieve satisfactory audit outcomes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills
Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system
Able to communicate well in English
