Job Overview

We are seeking an industry veteran with 15–20 years of deep insurance domain expertise to lead our expansion across major insurance carriers, re-insurers, brokers, and insurtech ecosystem partners. This critical executive role demands a balanced mastery of opening new enterprise doors, growing key strategic accounts, and discovering and monetizing unmapped business avenues.

The ideal candidate possesses an extensive, warm network of C-Suite and VP-level contacts across the insurance sector and a proven track record of structuring high-value commercial deals.

Key Responsibilities

Door Opening & New Business Acquisition

Leverage existing C-level and senior executive relationships across Life, Health, P&C, and Commercial Insurance sectors to generate high-value deal pipelines.Identify, target, and pitch core offerings to prospective insurance enterprise clients.

Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from cold outreach and discovery meetings to solution design, RFP responses, complex contract negotiations, and deal closure.

2. Strategic Account Management & Growth

Own and scale revenue growth within existing insurance client accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and long-term partnership expansion.

Serve as the strategic executive sponsor, ensuring high client retention, satisfaction, and account profitability.

3. New Business Avenues & Ecosystem Innovation

Identify adjacent growth vectors, such as embedded insurance partnerships, affinity distribution channels, insurtech collaborations, and alternative risk transfer platforms.

Track evolving regulatory shifts, market disruptions, and emerging risk categories to package relevant commercial solutions.

Conceptualize and pilot go-to-market strategies for untapped market segments and non-traditional insurance distribution models.

Qualifications & Requirements

Industry Experience: 15–20+ years of active experience in the insurance sector (Insurance or Broking).

Network & Connects: Active, trusted, and verified network of decision-makers (CXOs, EVPs, SVPs) within insurance companies.

Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets through combined hunting and farming efforts.

Domain Depth: Strong functional understanding of insurance operations (underwriting, distribution, claims, risk management, and insurance technology systems).

Deal Structuring: Expertise in navigating complex B2B sales cycles, multi-stakeholder decision-making, and high-value commercial contract negotiations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields. MBA preferred.
