Team members collaborate in a fast-paced, creative environment that blends fashion, storytelling, and community-building.Role Description The Cinematographer at Mainstreet is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for planning and executing visual concepts for brand films, product features, social media content, and event coverage. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with creative and marketing teams, handling camera setups, selecting lenses and framing, designing lighting schemes, and ensuring consistent visual quality across all video content. The Cinematographer will manage on-set workflows, coordinate with production crew, supervise technical aspects of shoots, and support post-production teams with footage that aligns with brand guidelines. The role also involves staying current with visual trends in fashion, streetwear, and digital content to continuously elevate Mainstreet’s visual storytelling.Qualifications Strong skills in Camera Operation and Film/Video Production workflows.Proficiency in Cinematography, including shot composition, framing, and visual storytelling.Hands-on experience designing and managing Lighting setups for studio and location shoots.Ability to collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams to translate concepts into visuals.Experience working with digital cinema cameras, lenses, and basic grip equipment.Familiarity with post-production handoff, including formats, shot logs, and color considerations.Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or brand content.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight timelines on set.Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and participating in occasional evening or weekend shoots as required.Formal education in film, media, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory; equivalent practical experience is valued.
