Job Overview

Getinge ANZ maintains a growing fleet of approximately 1,000 calibration-controlled devices used to support service, installation, commissioning, validation, qualification, testing, and maintenance activities across Australia and New Zealand. These assets include electrical, biomedical, temperature, and pressure measurement devices that are deployed throughout the field and used by Field Service Engineers to support customer operations.

To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and internal procedures, Getinge has established a centralized calibration management function responsible for maintaining equipment traceability, calibration compliance, record integrity, supplier coordination, and lifecycle governance. The Calibrated Equipment Coordinator ANZ is responsible for coordinating these activities and ensuring calibration-controlled assets remain suitable for operational use throughout their lifecycle.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:Calibration Program Management1. Own and maintain the ANZ calibration program, ensuring all calibration-controlled equipment remains compliant, traceable, and managed in accordance with regulatory, quality, and company requirements.2. Assess newly acquired equipment to determine calibration requirements, calibration parameters, calibration frequencies, acceptance criteria, tolerances, testing requirements, and suitability for inclusion within the calibration program.3. Coordinate initial calibration activities for new equipment when assigned by Service Operations and ensure assets are not released for use until calibration, technical review, and documentation requirements have been completed.4. Coordinate the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of calibration activities, including compliance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, equipment availability, shipment coordination, and escalation of calibration risks to ensure calibration activities are completed within required timeframes.Asset Governance & Traceability5. Own and maintain calibration master data, asset records, governance registers, and controlled repositories, ensuring calibration-controlled equipment remains accurately recorded, traceable, audit-ready, and compliant throughout its lifecycle.6. Maintain end-to-end traceability and control of calibration-controlled assets, including individually assigned, pooled, shared, validation, and data logging equipment, ensuring ownership, location, status, utilization, and lifecycle history can be accurately determined at all times.7. Coordinate retirement, replacement, disposal, and lifecycle closure activities for calibration-controlled equipment, under the approval of Service Operations, ensuring continued traceability and record retention requirements are met.Calibration Compliance & Quality Control8. Manage calibration documentation and certificate controls, including record review, repository maintenance, document accessibility, and coordination of technical assessment activities to ensure calibration evidence remains complete, accurate, auditable, and available for operational and compliance purposes.9. Control the operational status of calibration-controlled equipment by coordinating release-for-use activities, managing failed calibrations and compliance events, and supporting calibration-related Nonconformance (NC), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), containment, escalation, investigation, and corrective action activities.Reporting, Performance & Continuous Improvement10. Prepare and distribute monthly calibration compliance reports, providing visibility of calibration performance, compliance status, asset traceability, supplier performance, calibration turnaround times, investigations, and organizational risk.
