About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated CA Industrial Trainee to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates in their final leg of CA articleship who are looking to gain meaningful exposure in a corporate environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real-time business decisions and strategic financial processes.

The trainee will support the Finance team across the following activities:

Finance systems delivery and optimisation — contribute to the implementation and enhancement of finance systems (e.g., Fusion, GFS), ensuring requirements are captured and changes align with finance processes and controls.Tax applicability assessment — assist with reviewing the applicability of direct and indirect taxes, supporting accurate treatment and documentation.Funding and ratings review — support analysis of funding requirements and related rating considerations, including coordination of inputs and validation of key assumptions.Month-end close support — assist with monthly closing activities, including preparation and posting of provision entries in line with reporting timelines.Audit data collation — compile and organise audit evidence and datasets to enable timely audit completion and efficient query resolution.

As an employee, you are required to perform your duties in a professional capacity exercising independent judgement, discretion and decision-making authority in planning, organising, directing work, supervising and appraising the work of team members, as applicable; and taking accountability for delivery outcomes. You will represent the organization with relevant internal and external stakeholders. You will allocate and prioritize work, provide direction and feedback, manage team capacity and leave in line with policy as applicable.
