Business Analyst (Data & Global Stakeholders)

We are looking for a Business Analyst - Data and Analytics who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and Data/Technology teams. The role requires strong stakeholder management, communication, requirements gathering, and data understanding, with prior experience working directly with international clients/stakeholders being mandatory. Exposure toAI/Generative AI is a good-to-have, not mandatory.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Business Analysis and Requirements:

Engage with business stakeholders to understand business problems, processes, and requirements.

Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.

Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.

Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.

International Client and Stakeholder Management:

Work directly with international clients/stakeholders across geographies and time zones.

Lead requirement discussions, project updates, demos, and stakeholder meetings.

Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities, dependencies, and escalations effectively.

Coordinate across Business, Product, Data, Engineering, and Analytics teams.

Data and Analytics:

Understand data requirements, source systems, data flows, business rules, and reporting requirements.

Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, and Product teams.

Use SQL for basic data querying, analysis, and validation.

Support development of dashboards, analytics solutions, and data products.

Define and track business KPIs and success metrics.

Agile and Product Delivery:

Create and manage user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and backlogs.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release activities.

Track deliverables, risks, and dependencies usingJira/Confluence.

Coordinate UAT and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.

Requirements:

2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data/Analytics BA, Product Analysis, or similar roles.

Mandatory experience working directly with international clients/stakeholders.

Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria.

Good understanding of Data and Analytics, databases, and data-driven products.

Working knowledge of SQL.

Understanding ofETL/ELT, data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations.

Experience working with Data Engineering / Analytics / BI / Technology teams.

Experience withAgile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and structured-thinking skills.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, Business, or related disciplines.

MBA is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to GenAI / AI/ML projects or products.

Familiarity with conversational AI, copilots, intelligent automation, or AI-powered analytics.

Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP.

Experience in BFSI / Banking / FinTech.

Power BI / Tableau exposure.

Ideal Candidate:

A year of Business Analyst with strong Data and Analytics exposure who has independently handled international clients/stakeholders.

The candidate should be an excellent communicator, comfortable leading requirement discussions and coordinating across business and technical teams.

Strong stakeholder management is critical; GenAI exposure is an added advantage rather than a prerequisite.
