Designation: Area Head | Life Insurance Agency Channel

Location: MUMBAI

CTC: 15-20% hike on current CTC (upto 12 LPA) + Incentives

Experience: 5+ years in Life Insurance Agency Channel and TEAM HANDLING

Key Responsibilities:

Manage overall sales and business growth for the assigned area.

Lead and manage Relationship Managers (RMs) and their respective agent/advisor networks.

Drive business through the Agency Channel by ensuring agent recruitment, activation, productivity, and retention.

Monitor RM and agent performance against business targets.

Conduct regular team reviews, business meetings, and market visits.

Develop strategies to increase business volumes and improve team productivity.

Support RMs in agent acquisition, relationship management, and business generation.

Ensure achievement of area-level sales and revenue targets.

Requirements:

Life Insurance Agency Channel experience is mandatory.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Must have handled direct-reporting teams including RMs and agents/advisors.

Strong experience in agency distribution, sales management, and team handling.

Proven experience in achieving business targets through an agent/advisor network.

Strong leadership, communication, relationship management, and business development skills.

Comfortable with field visits and target-driven work.

Note: Candidates from Bancassurance/Banca-only backgrounds will not be suitable for this requirement.
