About Tata Communications And The Role

Tata Communications operates a centralized Global Treasury function based inMumbai, managing treasury activities for its global operations and subsidiariesacross 35+ geographies. The Treasury function covers a wide spectrum ofactivities including cash management, investments, forex and interest ratehedging, borrowings, trade finance, and general insurance.

This role, as part of the India Cash Management team,focuses on managing cash flows, working capital facilities, and intercompanyfund movements globally. It offers a unique opportunity for candidates with up to3 years of experience to step into a centralized, global corporate treasuryfunction and make impactful contributions while gaining extensive India Banking& Cash Management exposure.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for supporting TC Banking & CashManagement activities. - Responsible for investments of surplus funds ofTC India & its subsidiaries. - Supporting on documentation related to settingup of working capital limits (fund based) for TC India & subs. - Responsible for maintaining & updating KYCdocumentation with bank related to TC India entity & its signatories withvarious banks. - Managing account maintenance activities (incl.A/C opening, closing, signatory addition & deletion etc) for all TC India& subs bank accounts. - Performing Monthly Treasury monthly closing activitiesrelated to cash management & investments instruments (MF, FDs, CPs, ICD, CB,WDLC etc.). - Bank Charges analysis & driving period bankfees saving exercises. Liaising with the bankers and setting upprocesses which should help in reduction of bank charges, smooth paymentprocessing, less manual intervention. - Audit compliance and addressing Audit queries. - Bank Balance confirmation for banks, mutualfunds etc. - Handling queries raised by TC user teams withrespect to banking (Inwards, LCs, etc), & ensuring a timely resolution toconcerns / issues. - Preparing MIS related Treasury Dashboard, varianceanalysis, Cash flow statements etc. for internal and external reportingpurposes. - Manage systems related to intercompany loanaccounting, monitor interest computations, perform annual interest true-ups,and handle associated accounting, reporting, and compliance activities. - Supporting automation and transformationinitiatives within the Treasury domain to enhance efficiency and reduce manualinterventions. - Tracking PF and Gratuity Fund investments. - Strict adherence to process related to internal& statutory Audit compliance. - Constantly strive to improve the currentprocesses and make it leaner.

Required Qualification & Experience

CA/ICWA/MBA/Other equivalent qualification

1-3 years work experience in Treasury

Other Knowledge/skills

Exceptional knowledge of Advanced Excel.

SAP exposure required.

Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.

Familiarity with finance and statisticalanalysis software

Understanding of financial and accountingprinciples

Understanding across finance domains(taxation, treasury etc)
