Job Description of Technical Support Engineering Supervisor Level

Graduate/Diploma/ITI course (in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic)

2 3 plus years of experience in the field of engineering maintenance. He/ She

must be familiar with electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, utility equipment and able to

perform basic service and repair of electrical, electronic, and optical equipment

along with basic knowledge of Projection and audio / visual equipments.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sound & Projection:

To upkeep power requirement for projection equipment.

To keep entire track of Xenon Lamp consumption.

Processing Invoices of AMC and R&M expenses of sound & projection.

Co ordinate with service provider for services of projection and sound equipments as per the PPM

schedule.

Arranging spares from HUB location / GDC / BARCO.

Responsible to create show play list (SPL) from TMS server.

Responsible to create scheduler from GDC SMS.

Responsible to verify encrypted movie content after ingesting.

Present all formats films in a clear, clean and professional manner.

Check for correct volume level and automation before each show.

Constant monitoring of the image on the screen to ensure proper focus, brightness and cleanliness.

Watches each presentation, focusing on show quality, technical difficulties and projector light level.

Monitors playback units, sound console, any video recording or flash photography in theatre and

other audio systems.

Perform cleaning tasks listed on daily and weekly checklists.

Must remain in projection room at all times while film is running.

Communicate any issues, verbally and written, with other projectionists at shift change and Unit

Manager / Manager on Duty.

Provides routine technical maintenance for projectors - changing lamps, cleaning optics, etc. as

required.

Communicate with unit Ushers and Box Office Cashiers to ensure shows start on time and to inform

them of any issues or concerns.

Ensure all SAP related processes are adhered precisely.

To ensure incase if there is any malfunction / breakdown of projection equipment need to inform

immediately to the NOC team and respective GDC engineer.

Engineering:

Responsible for maintenance of all equipment and work areas as per required standards.

Ensures timely receiving of engineering materials and spares by regular follow up with material

department.

To coordinate with third parties/other vendors for the preventive services of the property.

Ensure upkeep fire system, safety security, acoustic, civil and interior, plumbing, electrical system

etc.

Ensure compliance of all engineering SAP process.

Update SAP plant maintenance (PM) module master data as and when required.

To monitor and control HVAC Plant, Utility, HLP consumption & repair expenses.

Maintain the chilled water/refrigerant distribution system from HVAC plant to each area.

Direct operation of chillers/pumps in sequence to maintain uniformity in its operational hours.

Maintain the conditions warrant, properly laying up off-line chillers/pumps and supervise proper

lay-up and cleaning of equipment at end of season.

To make sure preventive maintenance is carried out in a timely manner on a regular basis and to

record the same in the form of reports and check sheets ensure the check sheets are uploaded

against the maintenance orders generated through maintenance plans in SAP.

To ensure all insurance claims are directed and settled / closed.

To ensure all important documents like annual maintenance contract, warranty certificates,

service reports, checklists & engineering drawings are uploaded in DMS and the same is linked

to its respective object.

To coordinate for preparation of PRs and POs in SAP/ERP with respective departments and

individuals till completion and ensure timely posting of expenses.

To manage material inventory in SAP/ERP.

Ensure projection and engineering operating procedures confirm to the company Health and Safety

standards.

Complete and maintain full records of all activities on shift-daily log, daily roster, overtime report,

overnight checklists, incident reports and any other documents and must be available at any given

point of time in a completely updated state for review as required by the concern HODs.

Ensure all SAP related processes & SOPs are adhered precisely.
