The opportunity

We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer with extensive experience in the Payment Card Industry to drive end-to-end testing and quality assurance initiatives across card issuing, acquiring, and digital payment platforms.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

Lead functional, automation, integration, API, web, mobile, and microservices testing activities.Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, JavaScript, and JMeter.Perform API testing using Postman and backend validation using SQL.Ensure quality delivery across the SDLC and drive defect management and resolution.Participate in payment scheme certifications and compliance testing.Mentor team members and promote QA best practices.

Who Are We Looking For

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech

Domain: Payments / Banking / Fintech

Strong knowledge of the Payment Card Industry, including card issuance and acquiring.Hands-on experience with Selenium, JavaScript, and JMeter.Expertise in Microservices, Web Application, Mobile Application, and API Testing.Strong SQL and database validation skills.Experience with VISA, Mastercard, and RuPay ecosystems.Working knowledge of BOSS/NIV simulators for Credit, Debit, Prepaid Card, and ETC Issuance/Acquiring.Hands-on participation in VISA, Mastercard, and RuPay online/offline certifications and scheme mandates.

Preferred Skills

BDD, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, and Automation Framework Development.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
