Senior Fabric Data Engineer
About The Role
We are building a modern, enterprise-scale data platform on Microsoft Fabric and are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to drive the design and delivery of robust, scalable data pipelines.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You will own the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle—from ingestion to transformation to serving—while applying medallion architecture principles (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to enable trusted, high-quality data for analytics and AI.
You’ll work at the intersection of engineering discipline and modern productivity—leveraging notebooks, automation, and emerging low-code/AI-assisted capabilities to accelerate delivery without compromising governance.
What are we looking for in you?
5–8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineeringStrong hands-on expertise with:Microsoft Fabric / Azure data ecosystem (or similar modern data platforms)Python, PySpark, and SQLNotebook-based development (clean, modular, production-ready code)Deep understanding of:Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)Data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)Data pipeline design and optimizationExperience working with large-scale, high-volume data environmentsProven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable data solutionsComfort operating in a fast-paced, build-as-you-go environment with high ownership
Nice to Have
Experience with SAP or ERP data integrationExposure to Power BI or semantic modeling layersFamiliarity with data orchestration and workflow automationExperience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for code generation or optimizationUnderstanding of data governance, lineage, and access control frameworks
