Full job description

About The Role

We’re looking for a high-intent, extremely versatile Promo Producer to create and scale performance-driven content for the US market.

We’re looking for someone who can combine storytelling, marketing, data, audience understanding and creative instinct to figure out what makes people stop, watch and convert.

Understanding of microdramas / short-form drama is a must. This is a fast-paced startup, and there will be limited time for learning the fundamentals from scratch.

What we care about the most: how you think, your creative taste, your range, your ownership and your ability to figure shit out.

What You’ll Do

Create high-performing video promos for microdramas across formats. Write promo scripts, hooks, supers and VO that make the story immediately irresistible. Watch full shows/episodes and identify the strongest stories, scenes, characters, conflicts, reveals and emotional triggers to build promos around. Turn a show's core selling point into laser-sharp messaging designed to stop the scroll and drive viewing/install. Work closely with editors to translate creative concepts and scripts into strong final videos. Analyse Meta performance, CTR, thumbstop, hold rate, install conversion and other creative-level metrics to understand what is actually working. Use performance data, audience behaviour, market research and competitor analysis to inform the next creative, rather than creating in a vacuum. Research US (or any other) audiences, trends and successful short-form creatives to identify new creative opportunities. Take ownership of the entire creative loop: idea → script → promo → performance → iteration.

What We’re Looking For

2–5 years of experience across media, entertainment, marketing, content, social, post-production, advertising, microdrama or related fields. Extremely strong storytelling instincts and content taste in the digital era context: Someone who understands the different kinds of hooks and why they matter — how to grab attention, retain the audience, leave them with no choice but to click. Has an extremely strong sense of pacing and purpose — if even one second of a promo isn’t moving the story forward, it doesn’t belong there. Strong understanding of how audiences work — and the ability to identify what will resonate with very different types of viewers. Strong comfort with numbers, performance metrics and Meta dashboards. Ability to combine data + creativity to make better creative decisions. Strong written and spoken English. Strong leadership, ownership and problem-solving ability. Extremely results-biased. We talk less and do more. Someone who sees a problem and thinks “how do I solve this?”, not “who should I tell about this?” Ability to build processes that scale, rather than repeatedly solving the same problem from scratch. Proficient with AI tools and extremely comfortable learning/adapting to new tools on the go. Knows how to think outside the box — and, equally importantly, when not to.

Bonus Points

Experience with micro-drama platforms Performance marketing / paid social experience Experience with US audiences Experience managing creative teams Strong understanding of Meta Ads Experience working on high-volume creative production Experience with AI-assisted creative workflows
