The role

Product Manager for a beauty marketplace brand platform builds products that help partner brands grow through operational excellence and data intelligence. Owns discovery, specifications, launch, adoption, and measurable outcomes, applying B2B product management and SQL/analytics tools. Uses AI tools to identify automation, intelligence, and personalization opportunities.

Full job description

About the roleWe're building a brand-facing platform that enables our partner brands to grow on Purplle

through operational excellence and data intelligence. The core objective is simple: create real,

measurable value for brands operating on our platform — making it easier for them to run their

business with us and easier for them to grow it.

You'll join as a Product Manager owning a meaningful slice of this platform end-to-end — from

problem discovery through launch and adoption — working closely with a small, high-ownership

product team and cross-functional stakeholders across the business.

What you'll do- Own product areas end-to-end: discovery, PRD writing, design collaboration, build

oversight, launch, and adoption.

Ground every decision in real data — you'll pull and interpret actual usage, operational,

and business data rather than working off assumptions.

Partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional business stakeholders to

ship high-quality, brand-facing products.

Translate ambiguous, evolving business problems into clear, build-ready specifications. Run a disciplined, iterative delivery cadence — validate direction early, correct fast, and

ship surgically once something's approved.

Own outcomes, not just output — define what success looks like for your area and

instrument for it.

Build with an AI-native mindset — actively identify where AI/LLM capabilities can create

outsized value for brand users (automation, intelligence, personalization) rather than

treating AI as an add-on, and use AI tools yourself to move faster through discovery,

spec-writing, prototyping, and analysis.

What we're looking for- 3–6 years of B2B product management experience, with genuine end-to-end

ownership of a product area — not just feature delivery.

Strong first-principles problem-solving — able to break down ambiguous, complex

business problems into structured, solvable pieces.

Data fluency — comfortable with SQL/analytics tools, sharp about defining the right

metrics, and instinctively data-backed in decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write unambiguous,

build-ready specs and communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at every

level.

Proven stakeholder management — able to align cross-functional teams (business,

engineering, design, operations) with competing priorities toward a shared outcome.

Strong product sense — an eye for what makes a workflow simple and valuable for a

non-technical, business-user audience.

User empathy — genuine curiosity about the people who'll use what you build, and

discipline about validating with them rather than assuming.

Systems thinking — comfortable reasoning about platforms with multiple integrated

modules, dependencies, and stakeholders rather than isolated features.

Bias for action and ownership — you drive things forward independently, escalate the

right things, and don't wait to be told.

AI-native orientation — genuine fluency and enthusiasm for using AI tools in your own

workflow, and a sharp eye for where AI can be embedded into the product itself to create

customer value.

Prior experience with platform, marketplace, or internal-tooling products is a strong

plus.

Exposure to enterprise systems
