About Upstox

At Upstox, we’re building the future of investing simple, powerful, and for everyone. We’re one of India’s fastest-growing fintech platforms, backed by the best in the business, including Mr. Ratan Tata and Tiger Global, and on a mission to make wealth creation accessible to every Indian. From first-time investors to seasoned traders, millions trust us to power their financial journeys. We’re not just moving fast, we're moving with purpose. If you thrive in a high-energy, high-impact environment, you’re in the right place.

The Role: Product Intern – US Stocks

You’ll join the US Stocks Product team and help build and scale products that enable Indian investors to invest in the US stock market.

This is a hands-on, 0-to-1 product role where you’ll work across product discovery, research, competitive intelligence, partner evaluation, and integrations. You’ll work closely with design, engineering, growth, and external partners to turn ideas into products that customers can use. You won’t inherit a finished playbook, you'll help build it.

What You’ll Own

Write and refine PRDs and help drive features from idea to launch — scoping requirements, chasing open questions, and keeping execution on track. Run competitive intelligence across Indian and global US-stock investing platforms. Track what competitors are building, break down their features, and identify opportunities relevant to our roadmap. Research the US Stocks investing ecosystem and understand customer needs, market trends, product offerings, and the overall investing journey. Identify and evaluate vendors and partners required for the product, including market data, trading infrastructure, payments, compliance-related services, and other third-party solutions. Drive integrations end to end, coordinating with external partners and internal teams to get third-party services live and working smoothly. Work closely with Design, Engineering, Growth, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements into execution. Roll up your sleeves on the groundwork: research, analysis, documentation, partner coordination, testing, and the unglamorous wiring that turns an early idea into a real product.

What We’re Looking For

Very hands-on with AI. You use AI daily to research, prototype, analyze, draft, and move faster — and you’re constantly figuring out new ways to use it. Strong ownership. You take a problem and run with it end to end, without needing constant hand-holding. A figure-it-out instinct. When you don’t know something, you find the answer yourself instead of waiting to be told. Sharp product sense and genuine curiosity about investing, financial products, and how users interact with them. Interest in US Stocks and global investing is a strong plus. Strong written communication. You can take a messy problem and turn it into a clear, structured document. High comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias for action.

Why This Role Rocks

You’ll be part of a fast-moving US Stocks Product team, building products that open up global investing opportunities for Indian investors.

You’ll get hands-on exposure to 0-to-1 product building, global investing, fintech partnerships, integrations, competitive intelligence, and product execution — while owning real problems and seeing your work go live.
