About The Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, HR policies, compliance, HR systems, and employee support. The role will work closely with employees, managers, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and business leadership to ensure efficient, compliant, and employee-friendly HR operations.
What you'll own:
HR Operations & Employee LifecycleOwn end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit. Manage employee documentation, HR records, transfers, promotions, confirmations, and exits. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee data and HR documentation. Establish and improve HR processes, SOPs, and service standards. Manage employee queries and ensure timely resolution through HR helpdesk/ticketing mechanisms. HR Policies & ProcessesDevelop, implement, and periodically review HR policies and processes. Ensure consistent application of HR policies across teams and locations. Identify process gaps and drive automation and continuous improvement. Create HR dashboards, MIS, and periodic reports for management. Payroll & BenefitsCoordinate with payroll/Finance teams for accurate and timely payroll processing. Validate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and employee changes. Manage employee benefits such as insurance, leave, gratuity, and other company-sponsored programs. Resolve payroll and benefits-related employee queries. Statutory ComplianceEnsure compliance with applicable employment and labour laws. Coordinate statutory requirements including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, gratuity, Shops & Establishments, and other applicable regulations. Maintain required HR records and documentation. Coordinate internal and external audits related to HR operations and compliance. HRMS & Data ManagementOwn HRMS administration and ensure accurate employee master data. Drive automation of HR processes wherever possible. Monitor data accuracy, access controls, and HR reporting. Work with HR technology vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution. Employee ExperienceAct as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries and concerns. Improve employee experience across onboarding, lifecycle events, and exits. Develop employee communication processes and HR service standards. Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on employee-related operational matters. HR Governance & ReportingPrepare monthly/quarterly HR MIS and dashboards. Track key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, absenteeism, hiring, onboarding, exits, payroll accuracy, and employee queries. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to HR leadership. Maintain HR SOPs, process documentation, and audit records.
Who you are:
6–10 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Generalist, or a similar role. Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management and HR processes. Good knowledge of Indian labour and statutory compliance. Experience managing HRMS and HR process automation. Strong exposure to payroll, benefits, HR MIS, and employee documentation. Experience working with Finance, Legal, business leaders, and external vendors. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to independently manage HR operations in a fast-growing organization.
