12–14 years of total experience, preferably with a strong background in Hitachi storage technologiesStrong expertise in Hitachi storage arrays including USPV, USP-VM, HUS, VSP, VSP G Series, VSP 5K, VSP F Series, HNAS, HCP, and UCPHands-on experience with Hitachi tools such as OpsCenter, OpsCenter Analyzer, Tuning Manager, HDCA, Command Suite, Storage Navigator, HTSM, HORCM, CCI, and HRPMIn-depth knowledge of replication technologies including Shadow Image (COW), True Copy, Hitachi Universal Replicator (HUR), Global Active Device (GAD), and HORCM configurationsExperience in virtualization and migration techniques such as Non-Disruptive Migration (NDM) and Universal Volume Manager (UVM)Expertise in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and problem determination using OpsCenter Analyzer and Hitachi Tuning ManagerExperience in planning, verification, and validation of patches and microcode upgradesHands-on experience in configuring RAID groups, storage pools, and storage tieringStrong knowledge of SAN environments, including configuration and management of SAN switchesExperience with fabric operations such as ISL/ICL setup, fabric merging, trunking, switch migrations, and code upgradesAbility to work with multiple vendors to resolve complex technical issuesStrong skills in root cause analysis (RCA) for storage-related problemsUnderstanding of ITSM processes, including incident management and change managementAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions while implementing best practicesExperience mentoring team members and supporting new joinersAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively as an individual contributorKnowledge of automation tools or scripting is an added advantage
