Job Summary
This is a global role requiring close collaboration across multiple regions and continents. The DCIM Delivery Manager coordinates multidisciplinary activities associated with the AVEVA and Honeywell Niagara Centers of Excellence, supporting pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities for Equinix critical infrastructure construction projects worldwide.
The role is accountable for delivering DCIM and DCOS outcomes to operations at Ready for Service (RFS), ensuring solutions are implemented in line with Equinix global standards, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
DCIM & DCOS Delivery
Lead DCIM and DCOS delivery for Equinix Global Data Center (GDC) projectsAct as the primary point of contact for the Centers of Excellence on AVEVA and Honeywell Niagara platformsPartner with GOE to track product updates and ensure timely and appropriate adoption within GDC projectsDesign and implement new AVEVA and Honeywell Niagara solutions that improve business efficiency, data quality, and operational outcomesProvide advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the global DCOS Delivery team
DCIM Integration & Onboarding
Develop and approve Data Center SmartView electrical hierarchies for DCIM onboardingCoordinate with DCOS System Integrators to:Perform initial DCOS-to-DCIM asset synchronisation and review outcomesEnable and validate data collection within DCIMConduct structured data sanity checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
Validation & Assurance
Validate DCIM alarms in collaboration with site teams, System Integrators, and PSAE/Onboarding teamsVerify WWDCIM integration configurations, ensuring all points are correctly mapped, and that system-level calculations (including resiliency, utility power, and PUE) are accurateConfirm that Battery Monitoring Systems and Branch Circuit Monitoring (BCM) systems are fully operational prior to DCIM onboarding
Project & Commissioning Support
Provide clear and structured briefings to stakeholders on DCIM prerequisites, commissioning requirements, and go‑live checklists from project initiation through completionActively participate in DCIM commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with Equinix Global Standards and commissioning best practicesCollaborate with DCOS DCIM Managers, Global Managers, and Regional Managers to ensure commissioning documentation meets both industry standards and Equinix requirements
Tracking, Reporting & Governance
Manage internal tools to track delivery progress against defined milestonesProduce program‑level reporting, analytics, and performance metrics for stakeholdersMaintain, continuously improve, and standardise DCIM commissioning procedures and standardsDrive specification uplift initiatives related to General Commissioning where DCIM is in scopeTrack, report, and communicate DCIM delivery status across all assigned projects
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data centre controls and automation, construction, operations, or facilities maintenanceStrong engineering background within mission‑critical environments such as data centres, power generation, or oil & gas facilitiesDemonstrated ability to research, evaluate, and apply new technologies, designs, and construction methodologies for critical infrastructureProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with structured data tools such as databases and reporting platformsSolid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and monitoring systems supporting critical infrastructureExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detailProven ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, global delivery environmentStrong communication and collaboration skills, with experience coordinating across cross‑functional and geographically distributed teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes under tight timelines
