Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Bartender to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a Bartender, you will be the face of our bar, delivering exceptional service while crafting expertly prepared beverages in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. You will combine your passion for mixology with outstanding customer service to create memorable experiences for our guests. Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes, customer preferences, and current trendsPrepare drinks with precision, ensuring they are served in appropriate glassware with proper garnishes and presentationMaintain comprehensive knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail trends, spirits, and beverage offerings to provide informed recommendationsGreet customers warmly and engage with them in a friendly, professional, and attentive mannerTake drink and food orders efficiently and serve them promptly while maintaining high-quality standardsAddress customer concerns and resolve issues courteously and professionally, ensuring guest satisfactionVerify customer identification to confirm legal drinking age and ensure compliance with local alcohol service laws and regulationsMonitor and manage bar tabs accurately, process payments via cash and credit card transactions, and handle tips responsiblyBalance cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to managementMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all timesRestock supplies including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware while monitoring inventory levelsEnsure all beverages are served responsibly in accordance with local laws and company policiesRefuse service to customers who appear intoxicated or disruptive, maintaining a safe and welcoming environmentFollow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols for food and beverage handlingAssist with bar setup and breakdown for special events, private parties, and promotional activitiesParticipate in upselling initiatives by recommending premium drinks and special offerings to enhance guest experienceCollaborate with team members to support overall restaurant and bar operations

Qualifications

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and oral communication)Proven experience in bartending or a related hospitality field (preferred)Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, mixers, and current beverage trendsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse clienteleDemonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on customer serviceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in cash handling, payment processing, and basic POS (Point of Sale) systemsKnowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and local Mumbai alcohol regulationsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksProblem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathyTeam player mentality with strong collaborative and communication abilitiesCommitment to maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standardsAbility to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team environmentBartending certification or responsible alcohol service certification (preferred)
