About The Team

The primary function of the role will be to perform and ensure timely trade clearing as per exchange deadline and accuracy in lifecycle event processing as per the agreed SLA’s.

This job role requires key attention to detail, good understanding of Top day Clearing function, Listed Derivatives product understanding, Lifecycle events on Futures and Options, CCPs break investigation and provide resolutions in a timely manner.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage the delivery of the daily Clearing activities as per the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Ensure top day trade clearing and trade allocations for global exchanges are performed within the exchange deadlinesLifecycle event processing like Expiries, Average pricing, corporate actionEnsure daily regulatory reporting are submitted on timely basis to exchange and any breaks are resolved prior to submissionLead and participate in projects with regards to systemic upgrades, regulatory change, client mandated changeIdentify, resolve and escalate issues in a timely manner to meet the required service standardsChange Management/process improvementsProactively identify areas for performance and control improvementsConstantly analyze productivity/output to identify potential enhancements or cost savingsArticulate business cases to management/change/IT to execute and deliver on suggested improvementsGuide/encourage team to propose solutions and take ownership of changesClient ServiceBuild strong relationships with all stakeholders (retained team/management/business)Co-ordinate timely response and resolution of all queriesEnsure accuracy and clarity in all deliverables to stakeholdersProvide constant feedback to stakeholders to improve our service offeringProvide an effective link between industry platform providers and the participant firm in terms of knowledge transfer and decision makingRisk ManagementMonitor controls and checks associated with tasks in SOPs. What You Bring

Minimum of 3 -10+ years of work experience in Futures and Options trade clearing functionGood understanding of street wide system like GMIGood knowledge of Clearing Houses like ASX, LCH, EUREX, ICE Clear, CME, HKEX, SGX etcFront to back understanding of the Clearing function, upstream dependencies and how it impacts processes downstream around reconciliation, margin and brokerage, so that complex queries can be addressed accurately and in a timely mannerDetailed understanding of exchange traded derivatives (Futures & Option and OTC products)High attention to detail and quality of outputs deliveredAnalytical and can solve problems quickly and innovativelyDynamic outlook, with the ability to adapt and change plans on the flyDelivery focused; results drivenExcellent communication and time managementStrong client service focus
