Overview

As an Analyst – Materials Management, you will use supply-chain knowledge, data management, and analytical skills to improve inbound raw-material flow, availability, and network effectiveness across the assigned Operating Unit (OU). You will work as an individual contributor with Consultants, Assistant Managers, Plant Associate Managers, plant planners, and cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires you to operate in 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm shift.

Key Accountabilities

Support OU-level performance improvement across OTD, DOS, VN, NPW, utilization, MDRs, lead-time compliance, and related supply-chain metrics.Prepare and maintain OU-level analysis, and issue summaries for review with Consultants and Assistant Managers.Coordinate with Plant Associate Managers, plant planners, sourcing, transportation, suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders to validate issues, document root causes, and track action closure.Support disruption recovery and escalation management by expediting materials, coordinating alternate sources of supply and transportation, reviewing purchase order commitments, and tracking recovery actions through closure. Identify recurring MDR issues, recommend practical corrective actions, and support sustainable solutions to improve supply continuity and reduce repeat disruptions.Support TLC and related supply-chain analyses, including freight cost, safety stock, min–max levels, load efficiency, and less-than-truckload (LTL) optimization, to identify cost and service improvement opportunities.Assist with escalation tracking, process-improvement initiatives, and the application of AI-enabled tools and insights to improve decision-making, generate cost improvement opportunities, and deliver measurable cost avoidance.

Minimum Qualifications

Full-time graduation from an accredited university is required.Minimum 4 years of related experience in supply chain, materials management, planning, procurement, logistics, or a closely related field.Working knowledge of supply-chain concepts, material planning, inventory concepts, and inbound-material processes.Ability to gather, manage, analyze, and translate data into actionable information.Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and charts or graphs.Experience working with SAP Materials Management or a comparable enterprise resource-planning system.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, manage commitments, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

Full-time master’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in supply chain, operations, logistics, business, engineering, or a related discipline.Five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, materials management, planning, procurement, logistics, or analytics.Experience supporting manufacturing plants or global supply-chain teams.Experience with supply-chain analytics, inventory recommendations, material-disruption recovery, or continuous-improvement initiatives.Strong stakeholder-management, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work through ambiguity.
