Unilever Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program
Position: PostDoctoral Research Fellow R&D
Location: Mumbai or Bangalore
Duration: 12 months (extendable up to 18 months based on project needs)
Stipend: 90,000 per month
About The Program
The Unilever PostDoctoral Fellowship Program offers an immersive, structured research opportunity for earlycareer researchers to work on highimpact, applied research challenges within Unilever R&D. The program is designed to bridge academic excellence with realworld FMCG innovation, enabling fellows to contribute directly to Unilevers science and innovation roadmap.
Fellows will work on cuttingedge research problems, translating scientific concepts into scalable, consumerrelevant solutions, while gaining deep exposure to industrial R&D practices.

Eligibility Criteria
PhD in Science/Engineering from Indian or global institutesPhD completed within the last 3 yearsPostdoctoral experience: 03 years maximum Streams Open To (Applicants from any of the following disciplines may apply): Chemical Engineering Materials Engineering or Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Chemistry (Organic/Synthetic/ Physical Chemistry/Chemistry) Pharma Microbiology/Cell Biology/Neurobiology Food technology Computational Chemistry Graphic Design Data Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, Molecular ModellingAreas of research: Across nutrition science, color cosmetics, role of skin microbiome diversity, correlation of microbial signatures with skin properties, AI polymer discovery, Suspension & Deposition, Process design for solid cleaning products. Crosstalk between skin cells and sensory neurons, Predictive modelling, Development of AI applications for Computational Biology/Molecular Modelling, and more.
