About the Role:
As a Senior Purchasing & Procurement Associate, you will leverage specialized skills to handle a range of procurement activities, ensuring optimal sourcing, and maintaining robust relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Manage specialized procurement tasks and address non-standard procurement issues.
Develop and issue purchase orders for a wide range of goods and services.
Negotiate more favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
Conduct detailed market research and analysis to support sourcing decisions.
Assist in developing procurement strategies to optimize costs and supplier quality.
Evaluate supplier performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Resolve invoicing issues and ensure accurate payment processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on procurement practices.
