Job Title: Demand & Supply Planner
Location: Mumbai
Department: Demand & Supply
Reports To: AGM - Demand & Supply
Key Responsibilities:
Perform demand forecasting for the products (SKUs) in consultation with BD/Sales & responsible for monthly & quarterly demand plan to ensure a consistent and timely supply.
Identify potential risks or disruptions in the supply (e.g., supply delays, production issues, artwork, regulatory changes) and develop contingency plans.
Work closely with the BD and NPL teams to incorporate new product launches into the demand plan.
Close coordination with PPIC & Purchase team to finalize monthly & quarterly manufacturing & dispatch plan.
Continuously monitor and adjust demand forecasts to account for demand fluctuations and changes in customer requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PPIC, regulatory, Purchase, manufacturing, QA and BD to align smooth supply of products to the market.
Proficiency in sale order punching and update orderbook.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support inventory levels and demand forecasts to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
Identify opportunities for improving forecasting accuracy, inventory management and support to supply chain processes.
Work proactively to resolve any discrepancies or issues in the supply chain that could impact product availability into the market.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Pharma, life sciences or a related field
0 - 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, product launches, supply chain management, project management or related roles, with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, including manufacturing operations, inventory management, and distribution.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in commercial tools and systems (e.g., SAP, INFLOW, Excel, data analytics platforms).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
