About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Contracts Specialist to join our global Trade Contracts team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of commodity contracts, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining compliance, supporting stakeholders, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in agricultural commodity contracts, trade execution processes, and contract management systems while contributing to a customer-focused and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete lifecycle of purchase and sales commodity contracts, including contract entry, amendments, issuance, and administration.Review and process third-party contracts, ensuring risks are mitigated and contractual obligations are compliant with company policies.Handle futures pricing allocations, rolling, overfill/underfill pricing, and contract-related master data management.Ensure timely and accurate execution of contract administration activities while meeting agreed service levels and KPIs.Collaborate closely with Trading, Execution, Finance, Logistics, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless contract operations.Monitor operational performance, identify process gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Support and participate in global transformation projects, digital initiatives, and implementation of systems such as CLM, DocuSign, SAP, and SEDNA.Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support system enhancements and process optimization initiatives.Act as a subject matter expert by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and supporting capability development within the organization.Contribute to operational excellence through problem-solving, process standardization, and customer-centric service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience2-15 years of experience in Commodity Contracts, Trade Operations, Trade Execution, Contract Administration, or a related field within an international commodity trading environment.Strong understanding of agricultural commodity contracts and associated trade processes.Hands-on experience with contract rules and regulations such as GAFTA, FOSFA, PORAM, and related commodity trade standards.Sound knowledge of Incoterms, logistics, shipping documentation, contract execution, and settlements.Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and contract management platforms.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
EducationBachelor's degree required.MBA, Post-Graduation, or qualification in International Business, Supply Chain, Trade, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
