About the Role
The Branch Manager at IDFC FIRST Bank is a leadership role within the Retail Banking division, responsible for managing the overall operations, performance, and customer experience of the branch. The role focuses on driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service. The Branch Manager will lead a team of banking professionals, foster a high-performance culture, and collaborate across departments to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee daily branch operations including customer service, sales, and staff management.Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch targets and business goals.Monitor branch performance metrics and take corrective actions where necessary.Achieve overall product targets for the branch including CASA, Term Deposits, Investments, Insurance, Trade Services, Retail Assets & Business Banking productsEnsure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.Build and maintain strong customer relationships while promoting bank products and services.Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to meet individual and team performance goals.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Maintain a low attrition rate within the branchEnsure hiring is aligned as per the manpower budgetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and drive growth.Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.Prepare and submit periodic reports on branch activities and performance to senior management.
Secondary Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA) are preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail banking.At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role within a banking environment.
Skills and Attributes
