Full job description
1. Manufacturing Operations
Lead manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
Ensure daily production targets are achieved through effective planning, resource allocation, and execution.
Monitor manufacturing performance and take proactive actions to address operational bottlenecks.
2. Production Planning & Execution
Drive adherence to the production plan while optimizing manpower, machines, and materials.
Ensure optimum capacity utilization and efficient workflow across all manufacturing processes.
Coordinate with Planning, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
3. Quality Excellence
Establish a culture of "Right First Time" and drive continuous improvement in product quality.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and customer specifications.
Analyze quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
4. Operational Excellence
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and waste elimination initiatives.
Drive process optimization to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Champion digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing manufacturing team.
Develop team capabilities through structured training, coaching, and succession planning.
Drive employee engagement, accountability, and a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
